Welcome to the Semmes Foundation  Website. The Foundation is a Family Foundation established by D. R. Semmes of San Antonio in 1952. The site includes a history of the Foundation, a list of directors and officers, funding priorities and application guidelines,  grant recipients and recent forms 990-PF. 

The Foundation was formed for charitable, scientific, and educational purposes and  awards grants primarily in San Antonio.
